The eagles have landed...

taken in Melbourne during our stopover on the way to NZ

We are home finally... YAY! Our flights on Thursday were in fact cancelled due to the ash cloud from the volcanic eruption in Chile. Luckily it all had a happy ending (for us anyway) and after a few bonus nights we flew home Safely on Saturday morning. The flights on our return journey went a lot more smoothly too - PHEW!

I will attempt to catch you all up soon with what we got up to on our lovely holiday. But for now I am going to continue to lay low, get over my jet lag, catch up on 1000 loads of washing and continue to nurse this pretty face back to good health...

... because we were just heading out the door last night for a lovely dinner with friends when Hannah threw up everywhere, poor wee thing!! She is a lot better this afternoon thank goodness, but I'm feeling a little bleh myself today after another night of hardly any sleep.
Praying hard that no one else in our house comes down with the bug! (especially as I just caught Abbie drinking our of Hannah's drink bottle *eeek!)

Have plenty of things to show & tell though, so I'm hoping the opportunity to fill you all in will arise soon! :)

Welcome home. Hope you had a great time and really, really hope this bug doesn't take hold of the household.

Can't wait to hear all about your trip...hope Hannah is feeling better and that it is not catching. Take a deep breathe and maybe the washing will get itself done.LOL
